We had a successful first Saturday at the Jean Augustine Centre For Women’s Empowerment where we provided our young girls and boys with CADesign skills through TinkerCAD and hands-on experience of the fuse-deposition modeling (FDM) 3D-Printing technology.

Since the emojis (👩🏾‍🔧👨🏽‍🔧) used on our phones display engineers as people who carry wrench around, we DESIGNED our own wrenches in TinkerCAD and 3D-PRINT them👩🏾‍🔧👨🏽‍🔧.

Our mentor Angella Smith was there to help coordinate the kids. Thank you Angella!

2 more weeks to go! Please register your kids during the week to participate next Saturday. It’s free! #STEMHubFoundation
