Today, 5th of June is World Environmental Day! Happy World Environmental Day! Tackling environmental injustice…
“Environmental justice is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin or income, with respect to the development, implementation and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations and policies”. Environmental justice clearly brings attention to the environmental conditions and situations of people in that condition and how it affects their everyday lives, secondly, environmental justice also shows in description and documentation through analysis the reason for the inequality and environmental injustice.
Environmental justice is now gaining awareness on local level, such that local experience and vulnerability to climate change is being studied and how locals adapt to life altered by climate change, pollution and their capacity in managing with environmental pollution. In order to fully understand how environmental justice can be effectively implemented, the capacity of a nation, state, or community must be thoroughly understood.
