Our founder Dr. Adeola Olubamiji sat on the STEM Panel of the Canadian Small Business Women Expo on the 16th of September, 2018, at the Ontario Science Centre, Toronto.

She shared her personal experience in engineering and the panel discussed issues surrounding how to transition between careers in STEM, navigating the male-dominated engineering ecosystem, pay negotiation during hiring, schedule management, and how women could achieve career growth amidst their busy lives.

Furthermore, she gave insights into how she named 2018 “solving for X” and discussed STEMHub Foundation’s contribution towards inspiring future generations of STEM amazons around the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario and in Africa.
