Graduate students are eligible for entrance or continuing scholarships, graduate fellowships, awards, teaching and research assistantships, bursaries and loans.
Total scholarship cannot exceed $50,000 per academic year.

5. McMaster University
Doctoral students receive a guaranteed minimum funding package of $17,500 with many departments setting higher funding levels. The majority of Master’s students in research degree programs also receive substantial funding packages.

The average, financial support for our graduate students is in the range of $26,500/year for M.Sc students, and $38,000/year for Ph.D. students (based on 2017 funding rate).
