On August 15, 2019, we held an hour of code event for 60 kids in partnership with YAAACE (Youth Association for Academics, Athletics and Character Education).  

The kids worked on a small program to draw circles and other shapes using Trinket an online Python editor.

The event was held at C.W Jefferys Collegiate Institute, and the kids had a great time.

When asked about YAAACE’s experience with STEMHub Foundation, the Director of YAAACE  Mr. Devon Jones said, “We are big on 21st century learning and this is consistent with our vision of engaging our kids. They loved the experience and we have feedback from the parents as well about the impact. We are excited about future collaboration with STEMHub Foundation”.
