We are pleased to announce the appointment of Angella Smith Mignon as the President of the STEMHub Board of Directors. In the role, she will represent the organization at events, promote the organization, and ensure the board and organization functions to continue to achieve STEMHub’s organizational mission.

A Western Graduate, Angella holds a Mechanical Engineering degree, and a Graduate Level Diploma in Nuclear Technology. Angella is a Senior Engineer and has worked in the Nuclear Industry for the past 15 years. Her work in nuclear refurbishment, inspection, and maintenance, has taken her to nuclear facilities both domestically and abroad.

Angella has volunteered with various organizations since 2011. For the past 2 years, she has volunteered with STEMHub as a youth event speaker, mentor. As the Board Director, Grants, Angella led the grant team to win the STEMHub’s first significant grant in the summer of 2020.
