The Youth Are Making History too – Black History
At Black History Month celebration organized by Rogers, Dr Adeola Olubamiji discussed how STEMHub Foundation is inspiring a new generation of black youths through provision of mentorship and unique learning programs that engage black youths in STEM and encourage them to change the black ratio and status-quo in STEM careers.
In addition, she had the opportunity to share the platform with the Incredible Hon. Jean Augustine and many other leaders of our country and community. Hon. Jean Augustine is the first African-Canadian woman to be elected to the Canadian House of Commons and the member of parliament who moved the motion for Black History to be honoured in February here in Canada. Because of her and many other selfless leaders, many of us can call Canada a home away from home.
