STEMHub Foundation, in partnership with Firmex, is excited to announce the recipients of the STEMHub Foundation X Firmex Scholarship for STEM Education worth $5000 each! The recipients of the STEMHub Foundation X Firmex Scholarship are Tochukwu Bright Ezechukwu and Gouri Deshpande.
From the numerous applications received, using the essay and a blind selection process that considered their contributions in their communities, academic performance and their financial needs, both organizations came to the unanimous decision to award these two deserving applicants with scholarships of $5000 each. The scholarships will help address their financial obstacles and provide them with access to learning that would otherwise be out of reach.
As STEMHub Foundation continues to provide accessibility of STEM education to people of color, we are thankful to Firmex for their continued support of our vision through these scholarships, mentorships and support of our STEMskills program. Firmex is a global provider of virtual data room and secure document sharing solutions, supporting complex processes for organizations, including diligence, compliance and litigation. “Receiving scholarships was integral to completing my education, from Bachelors to PhD. Therefore, being able to provide such opportunities to those coming behind me through our work at STEMHub Foundation showed that we can indeed pay it forward. During these unprecedented times, it becomes even more important to support exceptional students with financial burdens through our STEMscholars program.” said Dr. Adeola Olubamiji, Founder of STEMHub Foundation.
We congratulate the scholarship recipients and wish them continued success in their studies.
